From practice to work

You start a 14-day compulsory apprenticeship, continue with a summer job, study while working under an agreement with financial support in the form of a scholarship, and finally devote yourself full-time to a job in which you are almost a master as a graduate.
Does it sound too easy to find your job while you’re still studying?
It is currently common practice here, and more than one Valbek colleague has gone through a similar process.

We know how difficult it is for a recent graduate to find a job where they can immediately apply their knowledge and skills from their studies. Students and graduates are often faced with requirements to have at least 5 years of experience after school, to be able to work in 10 different software and to know the subject in detail.
In our Group, we are happy to welcome those colleagues who do not have many years of experience, but mainly want to grow, are interested in their field and want to continue their education. This is the main reason why education has such a place at Valbek.

So what can we offer you, the learner?

The first and easiest way is to contact us via email at hr@valbek.cz, we will be happy if you include a simple CV about what you do and what you enjoy.
Another option is to approach us at our career days. This year, we will see you during March in Ostrava at the Mining University in Ostrava, at the Czech Technical University in Prague and at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. Here you will have the opportunity to ask our colleagues about any organizational and work-related issues. There is certainly nothing to be afraid of and we look forward to seeing you!
